I read a long ass post about this, but basically the average western fan is incapable of seeing the bigger picture, they see things in a binary black and white, dude to the selen shit, Nijisanji is considered evil and no matter what it does it won't ever shake the reputation among westerners, hence why the livers are hated and the smallest thing they do gets blown up, its also why they're welcomed when they leave, because they left the evil company.
Its also why any shitty thing Holo does get glazed over, because for westerners the image of Holo is the good guys, the best corpo.
