Apparently there was this American socio-economic Russian historian Jew named Stephan f. Cohen who was like the defacto authority in regards to post-soviet Russia- their sphere of influence and all that bullshit. Anyway, he claimed that Putin was brought in to mend the in-tatters post Soviet American relationship.
He claimed that most catastrophic outcomes for his presidency were if Putin got Russia into a cold war with the states again...let alone a hot war which would be considered even worse.

Basically this Jew Cohen is turning over in his grave right now with all the happenings since the maidan revolution.
