there is some beautiful architecture here, some shining examples from the top of my head being harrogate, bath, chester, but barely any of the country is like that. dont know about you but growing up in copy-paste rundown poor brick terrace houses, council estates and on highstreets like picrel i sincerely doubt that other european countries have such a dichotomy between the beautiful and the absolutely vile. its not even a wealth thing when even the poorest areas of spain, italy, and france still have gorgeous buildings and homes even if they are run-down.
