Kids have a warped perspective of pain. After I became an adult getting sick feels like a death sentence. I don't have the physical energy to play any game other than something like an RPG, and for those I don't have the mental energy. I can't even watch shows or movies I wanted to because I don't have the energy to pay attention.
My entire body is sore and achey, I'm simultaneously too hot and too cold, my butthole is on fire from diarrhea, and I'm hungry but can't keep down any food at all. All I want to do when I get sick now is just fucking die.
