France is seriously preparing for a possible war with Russia. The deadline is 2030.

The country's authorities have presented the National Strategic Review 2025, which names Russia as the direct and most tangible threat to the interests of France, its allies and the whole of Europe.

The document sets out the main guidelines for French defense policy for the next five years.
