Hello /ck/. This will be my first original contribution to the board.
I call it the ramen toastie, or you can say a ramen sandwich, grilled.
It's technically not ramen, but rather Indomie Mi Goreng Fried Noodles. I thought "ramen toastie" was easier to say.
I've seen the concept before (most famously the spaghetti and cheese toastie), but I wanted to try it with just some instant noodles and nothing else.
After looking it up, it seems this pair is actually a bit more popular than I expected. I didn't use any cheese in mine, though. It was just fine without.
This thing was grand. You should definitely try making your own, either using your favorite instant noodles or the Mi Goreng. It doesn't taste "overly carby" as some (including myself) would expect. If it didn't take so long to cook, it'd be a strong competitor to a regular cheese toastie.
