Yeah I used Artbreeder specifically which is a combination of a generator and a image blender. I used it because I liked the idea of creating a semi-consistent style for myself in the threads (pic related all my wives lined up) and I personally feel the opposite of OP and don't like using potentially known character art for OCs and as much as I would have loved to deliver personally drawn images I am an utterly incapable artist.
I know a lot of people have a personal distaste for AI but, I'm more 50/50 on it, personally. I don't want it to drown out everything, everywhere and I'm aware it makes odd mistakes but I also think it's kind of great individual people can use it for personal projects and whatnot, so long as they don't pretend they're the exact same as an actual artist.
