A tsunami in Kamchatka has damaged a pier at Russia’s Rybachiy nuclear submarine base, which houses much of the Pacific Fleet’s submarine force, according to The Telegraph. One section of the pier was displaced from its original position. It remains unclear if the tsunami caused further damage to the base following aftershocks from a recent earthquake.
