I mean, good or bad you don't need to spend your whole day every day talking about one thing. It's not like 4chan is so large that there are thousands of people here discussing every niche topic to get that kind of volume. At one point it becomes all about meta discussions like ritualposting and the constant fighting with imaginary enemies to keep engaged.
