I haven't designed a helmetless version. I think doing it would run into 1 of 2 issues, depending on how you do it

That's a cool design, I should research more cartoony knights.

I could get around the issue of no face even without all that if I had a rig with really good toggles/body language, but that's out of my price range.
I wouldn't even necessarily drop this design if I got a more generic one since I like it a lot, I just think there's benefits to having a second design that's a bit more standard to use alongside this one.
