WELL, GANG: this run is over.
Between Sans being a fucking useless sack of shit AGAIN, coping with all the 3+4 stuff, and getting a little too experimental with the gameplan... we're out. Congrats to /fgog/ on running the board, and /xivg/ on handling their business. Many teams have been NEPPED before us, and many will be NEPPED after us, but the bell tolled and we're out.
To any new fans, it's a strange feeling knowing we went from the grand finals of the tournament just 6 months ago, up to our eyeballs in half-priced salami and losing our fucking minds, and now that the thread's fully alive again we take our first stumble in several literal human IRL years. We had one of the longest streaks of escaping groups in history, and today, sadly, it ends.
RNGsus can give and he can take, man... but at least if we're going out on heartbreak we did it making literally every second of the match out. The most important thing is: we're not going anywhere. There will be friendly exhibition matches probably in the fall, and in 6 months we'll have another chance.
Coach-Anon will be by in a bit to post his actual match thoughts, and I'll be keeping all the team records up to date as the designated autist. There WILL be polls to run, there WILL be a reckoning coming for those dipshit bonehead brothers for ruining basically everything both last league AND this one. But for today, for right now, we're done. Thanks for coming out and experiencing the mental anguish with us; we have tons of archived games to watch, and there will absolutely be more in the future.
