Jesus told us to fight intelligently, the often incorrectly used "turn the other cheek" is lost on normies but its actually a cultural insult of its time, he's not telling you to be a little bitch and take the punches, it's a challenge to those in power to lower themselves to being on equal footing with their "lessers".
For context to the cultural insult, it's basically that Hebrews were generally slapped with the left hand, which was used for wiping the arse and so signified an insult. Slapping with the right hand was reserved for challenging an equal. By turning your other cheek when slapped with the left, you forced the other guy to either back down from your challenge and not you again or slap you as between equals right there in front of everyone publicly. Either way the one doing the slapping loses.
