Not that it's very hard to be healthier than modern man, with unseen levels of obesity, diabetes, heart problems, mental and hormonal problems, the human being is in a very bad spot.
And it's not that all of this can be fixed by taking off our clothes and running after antelopes, but it can't be fixed by patching it up either.
Our teeth were never made for carbohydrates and simple sugars, that's why we have so many problems with cavities, they used to suffer from them too, they have been with us for millennia but it is now that someone can easily lose all their teeth to them, besides there are many more reasons why someone can lose a tooth, like a fight, fall, accident, etc.
Have you ever seen a lion brushing its teeth? Or a beaver going to the dentist? Animals don't need to because their mouths, teeth, chemical composition of saliva is made specifically for their diet.
