Anon, that's the point of King's career. She starts out trying to push medium and long races in defiance of her mom and after the classic year she swings into sprints and miles.
She's essentially a tutorial for building a sprint or mile pvp racer and using legacies.
Mediums she should easily handle as long as you get early stamina, her long race can get dusted with some sparks, and B is more than good enough for the couple mile races she has.
