Porcupamon lands heavily on the concrete. The two of you move forward, until you spot a familar wall of melting blue flesh. Raremon is currently cornering a Betamon. The poor creature is being ripped apart before your eyes, and it's too late to save it. The ecosystem down here is savage. Porcupamon takes the chance to charge up an attack. Numerous spines are pulled from his body, forming a mass of razor-sharp energy. He flings it at the oblivious Raremon's back mid-meal.
"MADNESS BROACH!"
"Rrrgh... Ahh...?"
It whirls around.
"Hedoro."
Raremon spits a familiar ball of sludge at Porcupamon. Last time, you felt absolute dread upon seeing this attack. It was sure to have spelt both your dooms with a mere touch. This time, your partner charges through it, allowing the acid to wick past his slippery suit. He tackles Raremon, lifting his razor-sharp arms to catch the deadly claws and wrestle with them head to head.
"EW!"
It's not even close. This thing is a failed Digivolution that suffers endlessly. It's only ruling the sewers thanks to the junk data supplementing its power. Your partner will likely be able to take it down without issue. You do have a new conundrum, however. If you delete Raremon, you'll shake up the entire ecosystem of the sewer. There will likely be another Digimon that can turn into a Champion. You'll gain a good deal of data, but you also don't know if you can consider all the ramifications of that. Even Wind spared it.
>Aim to delete Raremon. You have a partner who's stronger than it, and you know exactly how to fight it thanks to Kaus Gammamon's methods. You'll have Porcupamon grow stronger, but the sewer will become more unpredictable.
>Have Porcupamon do his best to leave him alive. It might make for a tougher fight if you're not just tearing out all the life support, and Porcupamon might take some more hits, but you'll maintain the status quo.
