Normies will choose to forget this, just so they can get on with their lives. I wish they wouldn't - but I know they will. Knowledge that the whole system is vouchsafed internally through blackmail and every major actor is compromised is too much for them to deal with. It would require them to actually change on a personal level in order to combat it, and they won't want to do that, so they will eventually choose to forget.
