Denuen’s form finally vanishes. It… sounded like, in spite of everything, it’s still actually trying to help in some way. But… it’s not going to stop, and it doesn’t want to offer any way to make amends. You look down, shoulders slouched, a sour, almost empty feeling in your stomach. You then feel arms wrap around you in a hug. Gohan and the fusion of Izzy and mom hold you tight for a moment.
“Don’t think for a moment that I regret you making that wish, Peppa.” Gohan tells you firmly. “Even if this is something we have to deal with later, you’ve given us the chance to prepare for it properly. You made the right call in my eyes.”
“Yeah. This will be something all of us will handle. Together.” The two let go, with Izupuru adding, “Your dad included.”
“For what it’s worth, the Time Patrol will aid you in this effort.” the Supreme Kai of Time adds. “We were so focused on tracking Towa’s activity that this ended up out of left field, but that doesn’t mean we’ll continue to ignore it. If these Shadow Dragons are going to cause more problems across time, it’s our duty to oppose them.” She then turns around, narrowing her eyes at Trunks and Cell. “On that note, the two of you are going to come with me.”
