I think you and many other men were made to be those who were meant to advance society in some way. Unbound by the typical contrivances of love and romance. In ages past, maybe you had been great builders or scientists or inventors. I believe there is a level of obsession that everyone must find their way to romance or a lover before all else. But do in fact focus on yourself, and leave a legacy apart from your spouse. Then perhaps other things will follow. Don't give up on yourself. Use your freedom to the maximum.
