She never said who the rapist is. No name, no libel. That’s the law. No one is being specifically defamed. The fact that MAGA immediately thinks it Trump is hilarious. It’s also a clear cut iron clad defence against defamation: you can’t libel someone who’s reputation is already damaged.
All the judge has to ask is “why does the plaintiff, Mr. Trump, think he’s the party being defamed?” BTW, in a libel case the defendant, AOC, has absolutely no obligation to indicate who they are talking about. The alleged libellous statement must stand on its own.
