Is there any real guarantee that people will keep on comissioning online artists as AI improves and becomes more accessible? I'm putting in a lot of time and effort into getting out of beg so I can make money from comissions. So I want to know that I'm not wasting my time. A lot of anons who do comissions say they haven't been affected so far, but what about 5 years or less from now? What would make people keep paying for comissions when they could do it for free and in a few minutes? Some say that people won't turn to AI because they seek the parasocial aspect of comissioning, but that seems like a very frail reason to me. I'm bettung years of my life here, so I want to be sure it's worth it.
