Way back when I was a barista near a major hotel in Seattle we had a group of Japanese tourists come in. I gave them a demonstration of our espresso machine (back when baristas had training and used a real Italian steam powered espresso machine, not the McDonald's shit they have now). They were delighted and gave me two gifts wrapped in gift paper, a calculator and a gold watch. Best customers of all time. I also served the band Blur when they came in but I had no idea who they were at the time, and all the girls were freaking out over them kek.
