As a christian you free to practice whatever religion you want, Jesus only gave us two commandments and the Lord's Supper to remember him by. The rest is just for strengthening your faith in the Gospel of Salvation by which all of humanity can be saved from sin. You don't lose anything but obtain absolute freedom in all things.
