If you have a HQ fully overmelded piece of gear and you are wearing The maximum amount of +spiritbond gear as well as consumables (max +20 iirc) you will have a spiritbond rate of 520% however the amount of spiritbond you get is based on the item level difference. If you're trying to optimize the spiritbond then you need to use gear 10 item levels below the content you're doing as it gives you a 1.5% spiritbond rate in combat.
