When FGO launched you had 12 hours at level cap to not play FGO and let your AP regen. It is still 12 hours, because they're fucking greedy and only give you an extra 5 minutes for every 10 levels (which happens once every 2 years). They want you to log in 3 times a day so you aren't inefficient with the small amount of AP they trickle down to you.
