Israel wants support because they lack bunker busters with the necessary penetration that the US has and at first I thought it was weird, how does Israel lack ANY US made weapon and why does the US specifically have to launch them?

Turns out the US does have a bunker buster that Israel doesn't and that is the GBU-57A/B "MOP" (Massive Ordnance Penetrator) and it can only be launched by a large bomber like the B-2 Spirit (or a B-21 Raider in the future) which is why Israel can't do it themselves (Israel does have C-130 Hercules that can launch a MOAB, however they might fear it getting shot down over Iranian air space if they use it for the MOP)

You might recognize the name because it sounds close the GBU-43/B MOAB (Massive Ordnance Air Burst) and that is because they come from the same program (the air force telling manufacturers they want bigger booms) and as many people in this thread know, Trump was the first President to actually us a MOAB in combat so I wonder if he's itching to use the MOP as well and that's why there is all this saber rattling
