just use an already established character. or if you really want to be OC donut steel just use an established character and change their hair color. both local and saas are more than capable of it. On local you can even train a lora using images from koikatsu or whatever if your character design is super special.
Also you can prompt and hand tweak for every panel. It's faster than learning how to draw.
