A remarkably stupid article that rambles around and has no point. Like most articles in the Economist nowadays

The problem with globalism is that it's starting to collapse umder the weight of its own contradictions.
They started to deindustrialize the West un the 1960s and the process went into overdrive after 1991 because of the idea they'd never have to fight another peer-to-peer conventional war so didn't need lots of weapons.
The West would be a service and finance economy run by jews and women and you could put all the factories in China.
Now they need to fight Russia and China but don't have the industrial capacity.
If they don't reindustrialize the West then Russia and China will beat them in war.
But if they do reindustrialize this will defeat their whole 50 year strategy of altering the economic organization of the West.
What to do?
