I never buy games that were aggressively advertised to me, because inevitably people like me are expected to recoup the costs of that advertising. It's no coincidence that all of the games that do this utilize predatory microtransactions, gacha, fomo, battle pass, etc. The more advertising something has, the more wary I become.
