There’s a simple rebuttal. She’s an ancient monster humans and monsters have forgotten. With the truth unveiled by combining the humans’ knowledge/depiction of “magic users” with the monsters’ information about them and humans.
So in human history, they think of her as a strange human by their assumptions because their knowledge on monsters is lost.
For the monsters, she is a disgrace to their kind and doesn’t have the right to be remembered.
It’s like the Deltarune except the events have already came to pass. And we’re left digging for the past and the aftermath it has left behind.
