Ajax is a good example, they finally made it close to a Champions League 5 or so years ago and after that immediately lost most of their players like their captain De Ligt and Van De Bek (who really left too early)
And its the same for most clubs. My club finally has a really good German talent, Nick Woltemade, and it only takes one good season for Atletico to come calling with much higher wages than we could offer. It fucking sucks.
And it also irritates me reading Brazilian or Argie posting here, lumping us together with PSG, Barca, Real or PL fans.
We know very well here in Europe the big difference. Like fuck, whens the last time any big talent from any football nation didnt make their big move to any of these clubs?
