also if anyone's been having issues with my vocaroos not playing well on macs with certain sound cards such as sound only coming out of one side, then i'm glad to say i've fixed it.
turns out with my particular sound card and my particular setup (Solid State Logic SSL 2+ with a Mac), the sound card's monitor outputs show up as two mono channels, instead of one stereo channel. I was mixing these in Audacity as single channel mono, and Firefox on Mac only plays mono tracks on one channel, and that ended up just being the left ear in my headphones. Now i'm duplicating the track and just making it dual mono instead, and that makes it work. What a stupid problem.
Another thing with this is that the 4chanXT reply notification is also single channel mono, so whenever I get a reply I get a loud beep but it's in my left ear only.
