this general loves using paimon.moe as a general metric despite the site only accounting for rolls and not "sales" or game-i when they can't account real money but "G's" but despite those you gotta remember the gacha bubble as a whole just... exploded, as of right now if i can name 4 gachas that keep thriving would be
>genshin
anons keep bitching natlan flopped but the game is still lasting at the top
>love and deepspace
they have no real competition, tears of themis can't compare
>honkai star rail
probably the perfect "gacha" game for people who don't wanna play the game, and people keep disregarding they have actual sale events compared to genshin just refreshing top-up during anniversary
and the 4th but probably the biggest is
>pokemon tcg
because it's pokemon
for all we know they could have equal sales, neuvillette could've sold more, mavuika could've sold more, but at the end of the day people comparing natlan sales to the past are either latching onto the false narrative that genshin will be the strongest gacha until eos
and before someone mentions it, uma got a "revival" from their global relaunch, but it's still too early to say if that will make it a returning contender, in one week from what i heard they'll have their biggest banner
i'll be completely honest to this day i don't know why people care about sales, if genshin does well we get the same content, if genshin does bad we get the same content, at the end of the day i'm satisfied with the content we get so i don't get why people keep bitching about natlan instead of just taking a break, it's healthier
