They have poor synergy because they just botched what would be interesting design with harsh archetype requirements.
Like Appliancer is a slam dunk perfect synergistic opportunity. It's a Link deck, they care about arrows and placement, The Brute Blues has the arrows needed to either Link-1 Appliancer arrow to co-link, and thus enable their effects. They are all 1500 or less ATK Machines, they like to spam themselves.
Match made in heaven.
That is, it WOULD'VE been had R.B. not been so harsh with requirements.
