>going the way of wildstar
Wildstar didn't go that way, it started that way. It died because it tried to relaunch itself 3 times and failed miserably each time. In the end it was a lot more casual/new player friendly, but they had no good will banked because everyone who might have cared had already made up their minds about it during one of the previous attempts at readjusting everything. Wildstar was amazing and would have been a top contender if they had done what they did prior to it's death from the beginning instead of buying into the "WE WANT VANILLA WOW" hype. They tried to give people a vanilla WoW experience, not realizing that they were being literal. They didn't want a game in the style of vanilla WoW, they just wanted vanilla WoW.
