Thank you for asking. In order of importance:

- Anyone who has actually worn glasses knows you can't move around abruptly, do sports with them, and much less fight with them, so it's incredibly dumb for characters in a fantasy setting to wear glasses while engaging in combat when even slight movements can knock them off, specially in ones where fixing their eyesight is possible and makes infinitely more sense
- Glasses as an aesthetic and fashion choice was so obviously marketed to sell more product and it's inorganic, dishonest, and even insensitive, so I inherently think less about anyone who fell for it
- Using it for a character design to make it stand out from other ones is boring and pedestrian and shows lack of imagination, skill, and taste
- I find glasses make pretty girls uglier, but also make uglier girls much, much uglier too, with """"John"""" Titor being a very easy example in this game
- The opposite is also true: The moment a character take their glasses off they become instantly cooler, cuter, or hotter
- Without generalizing, a lot of people like glasses on girls more than anything because it makes them seem more attainable, which lowers the "value" of that character, and this offends my sense of romance

Mind you, I don't hate glasses on their own, and think it's not only a miraculous tool for people that do need them, but practically a basic human right. I think medical insurance should always cover their cost. What I hate is when characters are designed (or warped into it, like the Bkornblume garment) with the "glasses girl" aesthetic in mind. I hope my explanation is sufficient.
