Yes, I agree. The first movie came out a year after season 1, and the other two around 2 years ago already. If they didn't care enough to follow the franchise since season 1 I really don't get why they're apparently in such a rush to watch season 2 that they can't watch three movies that aren't even particularly long. Not to mention that it's not like they adapt side content or anything like that, the movies are basically their own season.
