bought this Highland Park Valknut on a whim, it was dicounted to 30 bucks at a local store, meanwhile it's sold online for 70-100.
not some whisky connaisseur so I can't really judge/compare it adequately, but I like the way it tastes. not too smoky (could be smokier imo). some online review said 2/5 sweetness, and honestly if this is 2/5 then 5/5 must be a syrup becasue this is plenty sweet. as for reviews in general, most seem to say "not bad, but not worth 80 bucks" i think I agree with that. but for 30 i'm satisfied.
currently losing weight, so a whisky is a good fit. it's something you can have a little sip of once in a while and that's all you need, saves calories.
