This is for you retards who couldn't answer it correctly.
Expression : 6 ÷ 2(1 + 2)
Step 1: Evaluate parentheses.
> 1 + 2 = 3
So the expression becomes: 6 ÷ 2(3)
Step 2: Interpret the expression.
This is where ambiguity can occur. But according to the standard order of operations (PEMDAS/BODMAS):
> Parentheses
> Exponents
> MD (Multiplication and Division, left to right)
> AS (Addition and Subtraction, left to right)
So we now treat it as:
> 6 ÷ 2 × 3
Step 3: Left to right — Division and Multiplication
First: 6 ÷ 2 = 3
Then: 3 × 3 = 9
THE ANSWER IS 9, IDIOTS!!!!
I'll write the post which will explain the misinterpretation that will lead it to 1, which is the incorrect answer.
