the Druze ethnoestate Israel wants to carve up is called the Hauran region, the brown spot on the map. you can see it from space. the land is slightly more fertile and climate cooler so the Druze settled there.
the Jordan border is the Sirhan Valley (Wadi Sirhan) where it dips downwards, that can also be seen from the sky.
