Not sure if this workaround has been said before, but I found this way to see the gens in full res. Perhaps there's a better way tho, correct me if I'm wrong, but hopefully this will be helpful.

Generate the pictures normally, waiting for the damn bird. Once you see them in the thumbnails, right click on each one you want and open in a new tab. Look for one of these this in the URL:
>?w=100&h=100&c=6&o=5&pid=ImgGn
>?w=206&h=206&c=6&o=5&pid=ImgGn

Whatever goes after "?w=…" just change it for this:
>?pid=ImgGn

That will show the picture in full resolution. Maybe it's the most obvious thing ever, but I just found out and thought I'd share.
