it would be called a codpiece, jock, or simply the groin/modesty guard if it was a separate piece but based on this concept art, I think it's a one piece tunic except it's made from leather with some normal (brown) and burned (darker brown) pattern and was hold by a belt on the waist and hanged above from the shoulder (hidden under the shoulder pad)
