I have some personal counterexamples, but he's on the money. I have met hot cute chicks that are nice, intelligent, brimming were brimming with personality, had cool interests and introduced me to cool things I still like to this day, but they were diamond in the rough.
Most women I see are just so bland that it just turns me off, even if they're attractive. I don't think a woman needs to be like a rocket scientist, esoteric knowledge holder or a rockstar or something else spectacular to be attractive. I just can't see myself caring about a woman past her looks and what's between her legs if she's your average bland woman.
I guess that's why I like a lot of these games with badass female protagonists like Eve or Bloodrayne: they remind me of the type of chick that's attractive inside and out. They're cool in addition to being cute or sexy. I really wish women knew that substance is just as important as style.
