Over the course of Obama's presidency the leftoids moved the *perceived* Overton Window by manufacturing false consensus through control of the media, academia, and politics (which eventually bled over into control of Big Business). Trump and his supporters have spent the past decade destroying that false consensus and now we see polls reporting super majorities of Americans support deporting all illegals and support for gay marriage is declining, at the same time the left has completely lost the culture war on guns and abortion (two things considered impossible in 2008). This demonstrates both our success, and the folly of attempting a top-down Marxist revolution. 4chan fueled Gamer Gate and spread irreverent right wing memes which snowballed into Trump winning the election in a landslide after his SCOTUS appointments overturned Roe v Wade.
