Batshit insane theory here, but do you guys think the drip marketing is delayed because they were genuinely, 100% unironically planning to pull off a firefly with Seed until they realized that all the comments making Firefly references were doing so in a despective way, causing them to put all hands on deck in an attempt to rework him/her entirely from the ground up just to satisfy the playerbase?
This wouldn't be the first time they completely tore down an idea just to placate the playerbase
