I honestly think that when shit like this happens the best thing to do is just bite the bullet and hope for the best, when the foundation inst solid there is just no way to fix it. If you see the firs teaser from 2023 and the actual movie (I didn't watch the movie I just saw a bunch of clips on youtube) this thing got completely remade

It seems they tried to turn it into a straight up generic sci-fi adventure but disney and pixar have always been bad at sci fi
