In regards to Iris, I'm not sure if it was a chicken, or the egg situation - Iris' card is called 'Inherited Darkness Iris', and the flavour text emphasizes they share a soul. Further, only one of her eyes is glowy, and with Colonel, you can only see one eye visible.. so I imagine if one got corrupted, they both did?
