Lorene grins, pulling the girl closer. “This is great! I can’t believe you’re here to be a part of the pack too!” This new girl clearly had no idea what was going on. Rather than simply tell her, the smarter thing to do was to misdirect her and gauge her response. …And, Lorene had to admit, the wolf-girl was quickly growing on her.

Clover’s scream pierces the heavens. Lorene… said ‘be a part of the pack too’?! It was actually going to happen? She was really, finally, ACTUALLY going to have pack-members??! “AAAAAAAA YES! YES! The pack! The WOLF PACK! You guys are gonna LOVE IT!!!” The wolf-girl had completely forgotten what they were trying to do in her excitement. “The wolf pack is AWESOME! We take care of each other, share secrets, cheer each other up when we're sad... but most importantly we howl at the moon when we see it so that even if we're far away... we can be connected!!!"

Hermione winces, covering her ears as the sounds of a wolf-girl squealing in joy shakes her phone’s speakers. “Samantha, report!”

Clover begins to dance excitedly. "WOLF PACK! WOLF PAAAAAACK! PUT ON THE EAAAARRSSS IT'S THE WOLLLF PAAAAAACK~"

Lorene joins in. “Wolf pack! Wolf pack! Wolf pack!”

Bombarded on all sides by chanting, the poor girl’s eyes spin. Hermione groans in frustration. “Agh, just put on the goddamn ears!”

“O-okay!”

>…Samantha has joined the pack.

“YAAAAAAAAAAAYYYY!!!” Clover hugs the two girls tightly, and they all begin to spin around in place. Tears of joy are streaming down her face. “PACK MATES!!!!!”

Lorene just laughs, caught up in the fun, spinning around with them, while Samantha’s new ears twitch in the air.
