"EVERY ENEMY IS IMMUNE TO MY EVERY SPELL" is a complaint that our Oracle has been making for several game sessions before begging GM to change class.

And then, after we've gotten more experienced with it and a new campaign started and I picked a sorcerer, I was basically ending encounters in the first couple of turns.

I distinctly remember PREVENTING an encounter the GM has planned.

Basically, we spotted giant hungry flowers from a distance, and the farmers asked us to get rid of them, and GM clearly wanted us to fight them in melee, but I just went ".... so, they're stationary, right? Um... fireball has a range of 400 feet, so..."
And that was the end of it. GM didn't even want to roll the dice. I just subtracted 2 fireballs.
