no, it's a technique i came up with a couple days after WAN released. it usually works a little more seamlessly than here.
basically you reverse the first gen, and then stick a 2nd gen on the end. the middle frame of the video becomes the input frame. so as long as the first clip looks ok in reverse, it'll connect to the 2nd clip "seamlessly." here's a good example of it working well.
