A cat that lived on the front line with Ukrainian Warriors gave birth to kittens the day after the death of Defender Vadym Barlanytskyi. The brothers-in-arms gave one of the kittens the call sign of the fallen Defender - "Vado" - and took it to Vadym's son, Mykyta.

Mykyta waited nine months for the kitten until the Warriors were able to deliver it.

Now Vado and Mykyta are inseparable friends. The kitten carries the spirit of Mykyta's father and keeps his memory alive.
